ROBBIE BONHAM - STANDUP COMEDIAN

In the 5 short years since he first picked up a microphone in a comedy club, comedian Robbie Bonham has worked himself up to regular headliner in Ireland's Laughter Lounge, as well as most comedy clubs around the country. He also performs regularly in the UK, in clubs such as The Stand, and has gigged as support to acts like Reginald D Hunter, Jim Jeffries, Doug Stanhope, Brendon Burns, and Steve Hughes, to name, well... some of the cooler ones.

Along the way he picked up the prestigious 98 FM's 'Best Comedian' Award, played some quite rocking gigs at Oxegen and in Vicar St, and is a regular at such comedy festivals as Derry's Magners Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Later this year his new show, "Robbie Bonham: Mein Oompf!", will be on screens for your viewing pleasure.

As well as performing comedy and/or compering, he is also a writer, cartoonist (his 'Happy in the Haze' comic strip has been translated and published in Holland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland and France), radio presenter (as well as guest, on Spin FM, Newstalk, 98fm etc), voice-over artist, actor , and occasional musician.
